On occasion customers ask us to work on Amada's , such as RGs and HBFs press brakes, we also perform shear blade changes on hydraulic and mechanical shears.

Sold this machine to a customer replacing an old mechanical press brake- General Fabricator, meaning it is used for almost everything including harden steel plates used on plows. We perform normal maintenance and removed side doors physically and electrically. It has been in service for 5 years and no issues. Good machine, no leaks, no control problems as the Delem DA56 may very be the most reliable controller by Delem.

When one of our customers needed help in purchasing a shear, we looked into used shears of 1/2"x 10 . Pricing for that capacity is high so we decided to buy and sell them a shear designed by LVD and we had the Delem DAC 350 installed. Great pricing and as it turned out, a great machine. We sold an additional shear to do precision thin gauge cutting. No shear can cut heavy plate and later cut very light gauge regardless of quality and brand. The blades are the issue- We sell American made shear blades that are in our opinion, the best shear blades in the market. They last 2-3 longer vs the average factory shear blades. In this business, you have to know shears like the back of your hand. Calibrating blades within .002" of a gap is not for anyone without serious experience. If we know anything, we know shears.

Recognize this cylinder? If so it means you are a proud owner of a Pacific press brake. Great American machines that are still working strong- With so many configurations the Pacific press brake is a hydraulic challenge as they use their own valves.

On this machine it was necessary to repack the lower cylinder and replace broken bolts/ most of the problems with these machines hydraulically speaking stem from issues with the main pilot valves . The leveling can be tricky and dangerous. Newer Pacific are not as good as the old machines.

We have installed controllers on these machines to make them more user friendly. Care should be taken and routine maintenance is a must as parts are very expensive and factory service is poor

Reliable press brakes, however the CNC that controls ram and gauge are getting to the point of no support as parts are not available, we are replacing these controllers with our own touch screen 2D graphical controllers.

The main logic of these machines are separate from the added NC controllers. All the controllers do is open or close contacts during axis travel.

Here is a precision plate saw, our job is to repair and maintain precision cutting- This means adjusting and calibrating backgauge electronically and trimming of aluminum fingers to keep a perfectly straight cut. Keeping coolant system working and vacuum suction of clips is a challenge. keeping the leveling of machine is crucial to maintain a perfect travel from end to end of the blade saw carriage

This mechanical shear is very similar to the Cincinnati Shears- We flipped blades, gaped and calibrated backgauge- Ended up buying and selling it to a local customer- It may be old but they are great shears with many features that Cincinnati does not have on their mechanical shears.

Mechanical shears are now almost impossible to find new- And if you do get a quotation for one, they are almost twice as much as a hydraulic shear.

We can install a backgauge programable controller, motor and encoder feedback so that you can operate and reduce set up time drastically. These older Cincinnati's Niagara's Wysong and Lodge and Shipley are still great machines, you just have to put a little money to bring them up to date

This Darley press brake required work on the Z axis motor- It was actually replaced with a new motor and amplifier- The motors for the Z axis are getting harder to find if you can actually find it. New motors are in the thousands, therefore we installed an American motor and Amp tuned to work precisely

Here is one of the oldest hydraulic press brake that we had worked on. This particular machine had to have main valves rebuilt, each valve weighed over 75 lbs. once valves were repaired, we had to work on the electrical side of machine in order to synchronize motion left to right. Big job
